We raise a variety of chickens for eggs. Our current flock is 30 chickens strong and consists of Silkies, Cinnamon Princess, Chocolate Orpington, Gold Laced Wyandotte, and our spring chicks (we think there are some Rhode Island Reds and some Black Copper Marans, as well as a mixture of a few others that we can’t yet identify). The older ladies are currently providing us with brown, cream, and speckled eggs. We hope the chicks will start laying more varied eggs by August!
