HELLO!
I’m Tiffany and welcome to the farm!
A product of the 80’s, I grew up an only child on a small midwestern farm. Some of my favorite memories involved starry skies and lightning bugs, running barefoot through Grandma’s gardens, finding quiet spots to read, and falling in love with every animal in sight (Except turkeys and geese. Nobody likes those jerks).
My high school sweetheart and husband of over 20 years, Andrew, is my resident handy-man and tech-guru. Together we have four children, a bonus child, two dogs, four cats, eight chickens, enough plants (inside and out) to be considered crazy, and we’re very excited to add to the list over these next few years.
Spring is my favorite time of year and it has everything to do with fresh air, sunshine, and seeing the earth come alive.
I love country and pop music and you’ll often hear it playing or being sung off key around the farm.
If I’m not where I’m supposed to be, you’ll probably find me with the animals :)
Our Mission
Raising and creating high-quality products with ecologically sustainable practices - no chemicals, responsibly sourced, and limited waste.
Birchwood Farm was established in 2025 when I realized my life-long dream of owning a farm. And not just any farm; my grandparents’ farm. It’s always been one of my favorite places and I’m so lucky to once again call it home.
Our dream is to raise chickens and ducks (eggs), rabbits (meat), goats (dairy), pigs (meat and lard), and alpacas (fiber). We also plan to convert the commercially farmed field into a food forest to provide additional food and recreation. As Permaculture Designers, Andrew and I look forward to implementing sustainable practices that can be shared back with the community to have a positive impact on the world around us.
Our direct to consumer model values digging deeper, doing what’s right, and treating every living being with respect and compassion. We are hopeful of a greener future with more plants, less waste, healthier homes, and a higher level of sustainability.
